IT Operations Technician - Remote

Overview

As an IT Operations Technician at Fiserv, you will be a crucial part of the Technology Services team, providing Tier 1 support in a 24x7 enterprise environment for IBM Z-Series, IBM I-Series, and various FTP platforms.

In Short

• Provide Tier 1 support for IBM Z-Series and I-Series.
• Monitor production environments and respond to system messages.
• Process batch cycles and execute batch restarts.
• Ensure successful client data file transmissions.
• Create documentation for processes and improvements.
• Work with clients and vendors for data transmissions.
• Analyze events and escalate issues as needed.
• Work in a 12-hour shift schedule.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with JCL and IBM Mainframe consoles.
• Experience with ITIL ticket systems, BMC Remedy, and/or ServiceNow.
• Background in IT support-oriented environments.
• Associate's degree in computer science or related field.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with CA-7 and Control-M is a plus.
• Familiarity with file transmission protocols.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
