Accounts Receivable Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a customer driven, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist who will embody our core values and enjoy making a difference in the lives we serve!

In Short

• Remote position with a Monday to Friday schedule.
• Works closely with the Biologic Team Lead to streamline billing and collections.
• Communicates with providers and patients regarding billing processes.
• Runs reports to maintain integrity of patient billing records.
• Collects documentation for prior authorizations for biologics.
• Interacts with clients, insurance companies, and sales representatives.
• Follows HIPAA policies and billing procedures.
• Requires a High School Diploma and 2 years of AR experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and EMR.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of recent AR experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.
• 2 years of EMR experience.
• Proficient in denial management.
• Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high volume, multi-provider practice.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments, and denials.
