In Short

• Analyze retailer and brand use cases, search intent, and business processes.
• Design front-end system architecture and author design/tech specs.
• Build high-quality, reusable React/Next.js components and SDUI sections.
• Define and execute performance strategies and track results.
• Contribute to the technical direction of the SDUI framework.
• Co-own the Search UX roadmap and lead multi-month projects.
• Establish testing strategies and conduct design/code reviews.
• Partner with PM, Design, Data Science, and Infra to recommend system changes.
• Validate releases and maintain clear documentation.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and frameworks like React.
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies and performance optimization.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects from conception to execution.
• A passion for creating high-quality, scalable, and performant code.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
