Consultant - Remote

Overview

As a Consultant at FAI, you will work closely with Client Account Managers and functional leads to support FAI’s strategic consultancy, research, data gathering, and reporting programmes aimed at improving livestock and aquaculture food system resilience.

In Short

• Work with Client Account Managers and researchers to deliver consultancy services.
• Manage and deliver client projects effectively.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and prepare reports.
• Conduct desk-based research and review scientific literature.
• Prepare and deliver technical materials and sustainability reports.
• Plan and manage R&D projects including data collection and analysis.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting.
• Onboard new suppliers to data platforms.
• Analyze and report data collected via FAI’s tools.

Requirements

• Knowledge of agriculture or aquaculture (essential).
• Experience working collaboratively (essential).
• Skills in preparing high-quality written work (essential).
• Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel (essential).
• Strong English communication skills (essential).
• Experience in food supply chains or sustainability consultancy (desirable).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI (desirable).
• Experience with analytical tools such as R or SPSS (desirable).
• Knowledge of livestock production systems (desirable).
