Group Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Group Senior Accountant will be a key member of eyeo’s accounting team, providing expertise on various accounting topics including financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting.

In Short

• Prepare accurate and timely standalone and group financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Review intercompany transactions and resolve out-of-balance issues.
• Assist in preparing quarterly investor financial reporting packages.
• Manage the global chart of accounts and financial statements mapping.
• Liaise with auditors for annual financial reporting.
• Lead compliance with local statutory reporting requirements.
• Provide support to Corporate Controller with special inquiries and projects.
• Collaborate with Tax and Financial Planning teams.
• Provide insightful business requirements to the ERP project team.
• Engage in ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS.
• Business fluency in German and English.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or Oracle.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a technology company is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills.
