Credentialing Specialist - Remote

We are seeking a Credentialing Specialist who will be responsible for maintaining individual provider files, completing credentialing applications, and other associated duties that support the credentialing requirements at Expressable.

In Short

• Maintain individual provider files with up-to-date information.
• Complete credentialing applications for commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare payers.
• Work closely with providers to gather necessary information.
• Audit provider information across various systems.
• Follow up with payers regarding credentialing and demographic updates.
• Research payer processes related to credentialing.
• Assist in resolving denials or authorization issues.
• Ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize credentialing platforms and databases effectively.
• Communicate professionally with providers and internal partners.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with credentialing and enrollment applications.
• Familiarity with maintaining provider files.
• Prior experience working directly with providers.
• Proficiency in auditing provider data.
• Experience following up with payers.
• Knowledge of denial resolution processes preferred.
• Ability to navigate payer portals.
• Experience with electronic document management.
• Proficient in office productivity tools.
