Overview

The Credentialing Specialist assists with various aspects of the credentialing processes necessary for healthcare facilities and their staff to meet government and accrediting agency standards.

In Short

• Assists with credentialing and re-credentialing activities.
• Processes paperwork and applications for physician privileges.
• Ensures compliance with healthcare standards.
• Supports scheduling of physicians and clinicians.
• Works in a hybrid position covering multiple locations.
• Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30.
• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of clerical experience is required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration preferred.
• 1 year of clerical experience required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• 1 year of hospital or payor credentialing experience preferred.
