Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

In Short

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for microservices and containerized applications.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive infrastructure performance optimization.
  • Implement security best practices to protect cloud infrastructure and application workloads.
  • Create automation scripts for cloud operations and orchestration using Python or similar languages.
  • Own and manage incident response ensuring quick recovery times and data integrity.
  • Drive the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of DevOps engineering experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficient in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for new technology adoption.
