Senior Cyber Forensic Investigator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Forensic Investigator to join our Cyber Fusion Centre. Our Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) uses the latest technology and trained security experts to detect and investigate security attacks and insider risks globally. This critical role leads complex investigations into cyber incidents, data breaches, insider threats, and other digital security events. You will bring expertise in digital forensics, incident response, and threat intelligence to protect Experian's digital assets and ensure compliance with global regulatory standards.

In Short

• Independently conduct detailed forensic investigations into various cyber incidents.
• Analyze digital evidence from diverse sources.
• Prepare comprehensive investigative reports.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical team members.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and mentorship to other forensic investigators.
• Support real-time incident response efforts.
• Manage the Digital Forensics Lab environment.
• Enhance forensic capabilities by developing tools and methodologies.
• Occasional travel for meetings and on-site investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5–7+ years in digital forensics or incident response.
• In-depth understanding of network intrusion methods.
• Experience in cloud environments and multiple operating systems.
• Proficiency in using forensic tools and EDR/XDR tools.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory standards.
• Scripting capabilities in languages like PowerShell or Python.
• Expertise in cyber threats and mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• One or more relevant certifications.
