Senior AI/ML Scientist - Remote

Overview

Experian is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Global Analytics team within Experian Software Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work on impactful AI and machine learning projects, contribute to solutions, and grow alongside experienced scientists and engineers.

In Short

• Architect and implement a closed-loop learning system integrating synthetic data generation, automated pattern discovery, and scenario-based stress testing.
• Develop GenAI-powered data mining algorithms to identify latent structures, cross-domain patterns, and evolving risk signals.
• Lead bias diagnosis and counterfactual testing to ensure fairness and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, and fraud teams to align AI-driven insights with business objectives.
• Create dynamic segmentation models that evolve with customer states and macroeconomic conditions.
• Stay current with advancements in AI/ML and integrate emerging technologies into solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML, with hands-on expertise in building, deploying and monitoring models at scale.
• Strong knowledge of modern language models (Transformers, GPT APIs, SLMs, RLHF), and agent-based architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud-based ML platforms.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in computer science, AI/ML or related field.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and processes (such as xgboost, GANs, Clustering, Graph Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning).
