Overview

The Director of Core Engineering will lead teams responsible for the foundation of Expel’s cloud-native platform, focusing on internal tooling, quality engineering, site reliability, and security.

• Lead Delivery Experience, Quality Engineering, Assembler, and SRE teams.
• Improve internal tooling and processes for engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing and mentoring engineers.
• 10+ years delivering large-scale cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and performance metrics.
• Experience in budget planning and financial decision-making.
• Knowledge of software engineering and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud-native services in GCP, AWS, or Azure.
