Overview

EXPANSIA is looking for a Senior Linux Engineer to support our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations.

• Design, implement, and manage complex Linux-based systems
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance
• Mentor junior team members
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning
• Manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Proposed salary range: $113,500 – $170,500

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Security+ CE Certification (or IAT Level II/III Certification)
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or LPIC-3 preferred
• Experience with Linux systems administration
• Hands-on experience with SE Linux/CentOS
• Strong knowledge of enterprise Linux distributions
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and at least one programming language
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
