Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support our US-based clients in all core HR functions while working remotely as an independent contractor.

In Short

• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Administer benefits programs and assist with employee queries.
• Support payroll preparation and timekeeping systems.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
• Monitor compliance with labor laws and internal HR standards.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and performance review processes.
• Handle employee relations concerns professionally and confidentially.
• Support training and development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of HR experience (additional experience ideal for senior roles).
• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• HR certification (advantageous).
• Experience with HR platforms or recruiting software.
• Familiarity with performance management tools.
