Middle Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

We're looking for a talented Middle Site Reliability Engineer to be embedded within the product development team and manage those applications’ overall reliability and availability.

In Short

• Monitor application/infrastructure and improve system performance, availability, and reliability.
• Configure and maintain monitoring tools for target applications.
• Document knowledge through runbooks/playbooks and dashboards.
• Resolve NOC escalations and prevent incident reiteration.
• Apply automation to manual tasks within the system.
• Collaborate with software developers and testers on non-functional requirements.
• Respond to high-severity internal customer incidents.
• Conduct blameless postmortem reports on failures.
• Participate in product engineering stand-ups and design activities.
• Coach team members on SRE best practices.

Requirements

• Understanding of troubleshooting Java web applications.
• Proficiency in the full software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with AWS cloud watch implementation is preferred.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Background in application monitoring tools.
• Skills in managing deployment pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub.
• Strong skills in observability implementation.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot cross-platform issues.
• Proven ability to triage and resolve incidents.
• Capacity to document solutions and best practices.
