Middle/Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a talented Middle/Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer to be embedded within the product development team and manage reliability and availability.

In Short

• Monitor application/infrastructure and improve system performance.
• Configure and maintain monitoring tools.
• Document critical system information.
• Resolve NOC escalations and prevent incident reiteration.
• Collaborate with software developers and testers.
• Participate in product engineering stand-ups.
• Coach team members on SRE best practices.
• Embrace failures and conduct blameless postmortems.
• Apply automation to manual tasks.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and SLOs.

Requirements

• Understanding of building, deploying, and troubleshooting Java web applications.
• Proficiency in the entire software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with AWS cloud watch implementation preferred.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Skills in managing deployment pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot cross-platform issues.
• Proven ability to dig through metrics and logs to resolve incidents.
• Capacity to document solutions and best practices.
• Background in using application monitoring tools.
• Nice to have: Java web application development experience.
