Overview

We are seeking a motivated AI Legal Specialist with a passion for all-things-tech & AI to join our Compliance Team.

In Short

• Own legal and compliance-related workflows/projects.
• Work alongside the Ethics and Compliance Officer.
• Develop legal expertise in AI and e-commerce regulation.
• Ensure compliance with worldwide laws applicable to AI platforms.
• Prepare compliance documentation under data protection law.
• Conduct product and feature reviews for compliance.
• Manage day-to-day compliance tasks including contract reviews.
• Track and analyze legal developments relevant to the company.
• Regular check-ins with the Ethics & Compliance Officer.
• Comfortable reviewing and discussing NSFW content.

Requirements

• Legal education (Masters of Law, Juris Doctor).
• 2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or similar roles.
• Experience with contracts and data protection law.
• Ability to distill complex legal concepts into plain English.
• Interest in AI.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Goal-oriented and committed.
• Doer mindset with balance in execution and strategy.
• Willing to learn and open to feedback.
• Comfortable discussing NSFW material.
