Overview

The Staff Software Engineer will contribute to building a world-class ad solution for Eventbrite, enabling creators to promote their events effectively through a delightful user experience.

In Short

Work on the Eventbrite Ads business to enhance the creator experience.
Develop APIs and user interfaces for ad campaign management.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
Own impactful features across the full stack.
Guide and mentor junior engineers.
Utilize a tech stack including Python, TypeScript, and AWS.
Participate in on-call rotations for service maintenance.

Requirements

6 years of experience in building customer-facing software applications.
Strong expertise in Python and TypeScript.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.
Unit-testing expertise; experience with TDD or BDD is a plus.
Experience designing and developing APIs.
Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Services.
Experience with MySQL, Aurora, or other RDBMS.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in Martech or Ads industries is a plus.
