Billing Lead - Remote

Overview

The Billing Lead is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely billing for customers, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing the billing department under the direction of the Finance Manager.

In Short

• Supervise and mentor billing staff.
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures.
• Update TMS for customer billing.
• Contact freight carriers for missing information.
• Monitor billing processes for accuracy.
• Oversee resolution of complex billing issues.
• Collaborate with other departments for process improvement.
• Prepare and analyze billing reports.
• Create and manage key performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP and billing software.
