Java Developer - Remote

Overview

We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer to offer his/her services as an expert remotely within EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

In Short

• Contribute to the improvement of the development and build process.
• Design and develop production grade, enterprise level systems using messaging and microservices.
• Participate in the Java implementation of applications and micro-services.
• Write backend code that is reliable, fast, scalable, and secure.
• Implement OAUTH authentication mechanisms and validation tests.
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and CI/CD pipeline setup.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker is required.
• Follow Scrum procedures and work with Git.
• Write technical documentation and maintain secure coding practices.
• Oversaw logging and auditing features.

Requirements

• Expertise in Java development.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of OAUTH and unit/integration testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ability to work in a Scrum team.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to estimate work and meet deadlines.
