Project Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Project Engineer position at Eurofins Scientific is responsible for revenue generation and customer support, including field inspection and lab-based testing, to ensure compliance with performance testing requirements.

• Revenue generation and customer support within a specific business line.
• Work with a technical team to set up, test, and disassemble EUT for evaluation.
• Document results and prepare reports using custom testing solutions.
• Operate testing equipment, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Conduct safety field testing across multiple standards.
• Create and implement test procedures and record results.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and operates properly.
• Support the sales team with quotes and updates.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Communicate professionally with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a product certification engineer.
• Experience with regulatory test requirements and standards.
• Willingness to travel 50% - 70% to customer sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Technical problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Based in the greater Cortland, NY area.
