In Short

• Full-time remote position for a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Manager.
• Conduct investigations in personal lines areas: property and casualty insurance claims.
• Develop and execute investigative action plans.
• Communicate with claims handling partners.
• Provide accurate and informed recommendations.
• Analyze claim information and develop action plans.
• Recognize compensability issues and misrepresentation.
• Conduct investigative actions including interviews and obtaining documents.
• Handle client communications and manage distressed clients.
• Collaborate with senior management and other departments.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Legal Studies or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience managing claims investigations.
• Experience with auto-liability, property casualty, liability, disability, and worker's compensation files.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience within an insurance carrier or third-party administrator's SIU department.
