Project Manager, Public Works - Remote

Overview

Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a Project Manager, who will be responsible for managing enterprise GIS solution projects focused on Asset Lifecycle and Permitting Solutions. This position reports to the Service Delivery Manager, Project Managers for Public Works. Esri Canada supports remote working options so this position may be based anywhere in Canada.

In Short

• Manage overall coordination of enterprise projects, from planning through to implementation
• Set project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules
• Facilitate discussion and consensus among various project stakeholders
• Manage and monitor project budget and expenditures
• Identify and manage risks and issues proactively
• Promote IT standards and best practices for project management
• Prepare quality management plans and lead quality assurance
• Negotiate with clients regarding project scope and deliverables
• Produce project control reports as required
• Contribute to business development initiatives

Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in Computer Sciences, GIS, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience with IT and/or GIS applications
• 3+ years experience as a project manager on IT projects
• Knowledge of development methodologies
• Good understanding of GIS applications
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with MS Project
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
