Senior Project Estimator - Remote

Overview

The Senior Project Estimator role is responsible for estimating and confirming project capital budgets during development phases, managing tendering, and overseeing cost control, change management, and risk assessment throughout the project execution.

• Perform cost estimation for complex projects including theme parks and hotels.
• Guide and mentor other project estimators.
• Manage cost throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate design documentation and provide trend estimates.
• Coordinate estimates based on scope and design documentation.
• Work with cost consultancy during tendering and post-contract phases.
• Adapt complex financial data for various audiences.
• Develop project strategies and risk mitigation plans.
• Incorporate historical cost data into estimates.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with knowledge of themed entertainment.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of estimating and/or cost control experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in themed park construction.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions.
• Strong communication skills in writing and verbally.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field preferred.
