Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Risk Management Services Business Analyst (BA) role is responsible for research, analysis and reporting on leading and lagging indicators found within Risk Management Services, Safety and Health Services data. The BA will perform basic to advanced analysis to determine continuous improvement opportunities with the assistance of the Senior Business Analyst and the guidance of the manager of the team.

In Short

• Conduct ad hoc reporting for Legal or other partners.
• Perform daily sustainment reporting.
• Execute pre-analytic data integrity checks and cleanup.
• Provide data analysis for various projects.
• Design visual representations of data.
• Prepare presentations for leadership including senior and executive leadership.
• Review and report from control charts and exploratory dashboards as assigned.
• Support Risk Management internal partners with reporting practices.
• Tell a coherent and concise story using data.
• Participate in team meetings to strategize and improve reporting quality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in statistical analysis and/or process improvement.
• Proven ability to present complex information coherently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Business Objects, Microsoft Office, and querying tools.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
• Advanced PowerPoint or Keynote skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in statistics and analytical methodology.
• Self-starter with the ability to balance priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
