In Short

  • Seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Support Engineer.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert for clients utilizing RabbitMQ.
  • Maintaining the health, performance, and reliability of messaging infrastructure.
  • Engaging in direct customer support and proactive system monitoring.
  • Participating in customer calls for collaborative problem-solving.
  • Conducting data analysis to diagnose issues and provide recommendations.
  • Providing on-call support outside regular business hours.
  • Continuously learning about RabbitMQ and related technologies.
  • Collaborating with the consulting team to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing initiatives and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience managing production systems and responding to incidents.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Erlang.
  • Solid grasp of networking principles and operating systems.
  • Comfortable with Linux operating systems at the user level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Systematic and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-centric approach and professionalism.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
