Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Remote

Overview

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will provide evidence-based therapy for eating disorders in a virtual clinic setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

In Short

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders.
• Implement family-based treatment (FBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E).
• Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients.
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings.
• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Utilize between-session messaging for patient support.
• Maintain licensure in home state and obtain other state licenses as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work hours include evenings as needed.

Requirements

• Active psychotherapy license from a US state.
• Ability to support a diverse patient caseload.
• Passion for evidence-based care.
• Strong team player skills.
• Ability to deliver care in a virtual setting.
• Interest in mental health and eating disorder treatment.
• Experience in FBT and/or eating disorder treatment (preferred).
• Experience with evidence-based treatment settings (preferred).
• Case management experience (preferred).
• Ability to work evenings (2 nights/week).
