Overview

Greyling Insurance Brokerage & Risk Consulting is seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker to support a new book of business in the Seattle, WA area, focusing on providing customer service and risk-related consulting advice.

In Short

• Provide day-to-day customer service for clients.
• Negotiate and implement clients’ insurance programs.
• Coordinate pre-renewal work and manage timelines.
• Review and analyze renewal documents.
• Handle mid-term requests and provide risk reviews.
• Maintain files and electronic records per company policy.
• Support new client acquisition efforts.
• Participate in industry-specific professional organizations.
• Potential to supervise Associate Brokers and Account Managers.
• Work from home initially, transitioning to a hybrid role.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an Insurance Brokerage.
• Experience in the AEC industries is highly desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of interpersonal skills for sensitive situations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience equivalent will be considered.
• Broker’s P&C license is required.
• Insurance designation preferred.
