Overview

Greyling Insurance Brokerage & Risk Consulting is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to service a new book of business in the Seattle, WA area. The role involves managing client relationships and providing day-to-day client service.

In Short

  • Primary client contact for a new book of business.
  • Manage renewal processes for existing clients.
  • Handle day-to-day client issues and questions.
  • Document customer service transactions.
  • Negotiate policy terms and prepare insurance proposals.
  • Work with AEC industries and environmental-related policies.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in insurance brokerage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Work-from-home role transitioning to hybrid in 2025.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred.
  • Experience with AEC industries is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Broker’s P&C license required.
