Business Insurance Trust Producer - Remote

Overview

The ACEC Business Insurance Trust (BIT) Producer is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, quoting, and selling new and renewal accounts to qualifying firms who are members of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). This role will travel to ACEC events to network and build relationships with ACEC members and the BIT Trustees.

• Responsible for managing accounts and/or broking/marketing with carriers.
• Sales experience preferred but not required.

• Negotiates premium and commission rates on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Current commercial insurance industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance brokerage preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Current Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both with and without supervision.
• Demonstrated experience with agency management systems.
• High level of interpersonal skills for sensitive situations.
• College degree preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
