Category Manager - IT - Remote

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a Category Manager - IT at EPUKI on a remote basis with occasional travel.

In Short

• Permanent full-time position in the Procurement department.
• Focus on IT and Indirect procurement.
• Maximizing value from third-party contracts while minimizing risk.
• Negotiating with suppliers on commercial and contractual matters.
• Managing supplier relationships and coordinating stakeholder interfaces.
• Identifying cost savings and process improvements.
• Working closely with HSEQ teams for supply chain safety.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills required.
• Experience in managing a procurement whole life cycle is essential.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Experience in IT / Indirect procurement.
• Evidence of managing complex contracts and commercial risks.
• Ability to coach and upskill colleagues in category management principles.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data.
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline (desirable).
• Minimum CIPS level 4 achieved, working towards level 6 (desirable).
• Full driving license.
• Demonstrable competence in IT/IS skills, e.g., MS Office.
• Excellent influencing and networking skills.
• High motivation and self-direction.
