Approvals Manager - Remote

Overview

The Approvals Manager is responsible for technical review of sales opportunities including bid packages and/or project documents to determine disposal options, manage project approvals, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

• Review site history and environmental investigations for waste disposal.
• Consolidate data from multiple technical documents into project summaries.
• Provide competitive disposal options to sales teams.

• Assist in project approvals to meet acceptance criteria.
• Submit project packages to regulatory agencies for approval.
• Develop site-specific sampling plans for waste characterization.
• Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulatory standards.
• Optimize relationships with environmental consultants and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in waste disposal or environmental consulting.
• Current driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with computerized systems for operations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information tactfully.
• Creativity and latitude in problem-solving.
