Overview

The Brazil MLRO is responsible for overseeing the AML framework of the Brazilian business, ensuring compliance with local money laundering regulations and providing subject matter expertise.

In Short

• Responsible for the AML framework of our Brazilian business.
• Conduct and maintain an AML/CFT business risk assessment.
• Develop policies and procedures in line with AML legislation.
• Make final decisions on external reporting of Suspicious Activity.
• Provide AML expertise to advise the Brazil business.
• Identify audit requirements and oversee audits.
• Standardize reporting requirements for the Brazilian business.
• Stay current with money laundering and terrorist financing issues.
• Represent the company at conferences and with regulators.
• Oversee the development of a training program for the Brazilian business.

Requirements

• At least three years experience as an MLRO in a regulated market.
• Strong knowledge of Brazil AML law and regulations.
• Extensive AML subject matter expertise.
• Experience designing and implementing an AML/CFT framework.
• Experience delivering an AML/CFT training program.
• Knowledge of the Gambling industry is desirable.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Experience dealing with COAF and regulatory authorities.
• Experience reporting SARs.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
