Vascular Specialized Coder - Remote

Overview

The Vascular Specialized Coder at Ensemble Health Partners is responsible for accurately coding physician charges and assisting with research for denied claims while providing education and support to the coding team.

In Short

• Code claims from medical records according to guidelines.
• Track coding trends and assist in resolving issues.

• Extensive knowledge in physician coding, especially vascular.
• 3+ years of coding experience required.
• Possible travel for education sessions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must hold at least one professional certification (CPC preferred).
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Experience with EPIC and coding software tools.
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in mentoring and providing education.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and participate in projects.
