Overview

The IT Systems Engineer is a key member of the IT Infrastructure team, responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems used to manage and control end-user devices, services, and enterprise applications.

In Short

  • Administer and maintain core IT systems including Microsoft Entra, Intune, and Office 365.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for IT systems and infrastructure issues.
  • Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki infrastructure.
  • Lead and support IT projects, such as system migrations and upgrades.
  • Implement and enforce IT security measures and compliance.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime for critical IT services.
  • Collaborate with IT Support and Hardware teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Develop and maintain automation workflows for routine tasks.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra, Intune, and Office 365.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks is an advantage.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
