Overview

The Finance Manager will provide commercial support and advice to the ALH Operations teams, focusing on driving optimal business performance within the Hotels Finance team.

In Short

  • Manage weekly and monthly performance reporting insights.
  • Assess risks and opportunities against financial targets.
  • Lead detailed analysis and recommendations on sales and cost control.
  • Develop initiatives to improve visibility of sales and labour.
  • Ownership of the venue level incentive program.
  • Identify optimisation initiatives with the Group Optimisation team.
  • Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc information and decision support.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of the annual budget and forecast.
  • Monitor performance against plan and establish early warning signals.
  • Strengthen team culture and ways of working with Operations and Finance.

Requirements

  • CA / CPA Qualification.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Desirable: Hospitality/Hotels sector experience.
  • Strong data analysis and modelling skills.
  • Strong presentation and storyboarding skills.
  • Proficient in synthesizing large amounts of data.
  • Adept at communicating complex financial information.
  • Identifying efficiencies in a changing business environment.
  • Strong experience using financial systems (Excel, SAP, Tableau).
