In Short

• Responsible for the entire machine learning model development process.
• Work with stakeholders to create model pipelines and technical development.
• Own creating and improving credit risk models.
• Build ML based paycheck detection algorithms.
• Collaborate with credit, product, and finance teams.
• Grow user base and increase retention through machine learning.
• Design strategies on underwriting, marketing, and customer experience.
• Implement models in production with the engineering team.
• Develop data standards and analytics pipelines.

Requirements

• BS degree in engineering, computer science, finance or mathematics.
• 6+ years industry experience in data mining and machine learning.
• Deep understanding of statistics and machine learning techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with ML packages like scikit-learn and XGBoost.
• Knowledge in deep learning is preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional partners.
