In Short

• Develop data standards, analytics pipelines, and new risk models for Empower’s business in the Philippines.
• Collaborate closely with the credit team to influence and use models that solve business problems.
• Work with Cashalo's leadership team to refine and execute business plans.
• Partner with other credit and data science teams internationally.
• Ensure that the team’s work fits within the larger picture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• 4+ years of industry experience in data mining and machine learning.
• Deep understanding of statistics and machine learning techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python and intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with ML packages like scikit-learn, LightGBM, and XGBoost.
• Experience using LLM tools like Github Copilot.
• Knowledge in deep learning with toolkits like Tensorflow or PyTorch preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ideal candidate location is in APAC in the Philippines time zone.
