Print Buyer - Remote

Overview

U-Haul is seeking a Buyer to support Print Buying in their corporate office, responsible for vendor negotiations, quality control, and administrative tasks.

In Short

• Responsible for interviewing vendors and obtaining competitive bids.
• Negotiate price, quality, service, and delivery with vendors.
• Consult with Art Directors and Account Executives on quality control.
• Execute purchase orders and manage procurement status.
• Support the Chief of Staff with administrative tasks.
• Participate in supplier development and cost reduction activities.
• Reconcile payment errors and expedite material updates.
• Less than 5% travel required.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management required.
• Must have a degree in relevant fields or equivalent work experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Familiarity with computerized purchasing systems and ERP.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of administrative duties.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings is a plus.
• Resourceful and able to address needs quickly.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in art, advertising, or marketing is a plus.
• A good driving record is preferred.
