Transformer Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Transformer Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products related to dry type transformers, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.

In Short

• Design and develop new products related to dry type transformers.
• Document customer special orders.
• Ensure product compliance with UL, CSA, IEC, and NEC standards.
• Conduct transformer testing including power supply and UPS testing.
• Coordinate reviews and meetings with internal and business unit customers.
• Conduct DFMEA, DFM, FMEA, etc.

Requirements

• Expert in Transformer Engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, OPS software, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Experience in transformer design, preferably low voltage dry type distribution transformers.
• Knowledge of transformer design parameters and testing.
• Exposure to international standards is preferred.
• Good understanding of transformer manufacturing and materials.
