Tax Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Tax Analyst at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in preparing tax compliance deliverables and supporting the Global Financial Services team.

In Short

• Preparation of U.S. Federal, International, and State Corporate Income Tax packages.
• Monthly and Quarterly Sales and Use Tax filings.
• Tax Withholding Management and other Sales Tax Duties.
• Reconcile transaction tax general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures (CP&P) and GAAP.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
• Assist with special projects to reduce manual processes.
• Prepare documentation of automated processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, and tax transactions.
• Advanced skills in Office365 applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
