Junior Planning Engineer - Remote

Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Junior Planning Engineer to grow within Emerson, responsible for driving material practices and ensuring timely delivery of products.

In Short

• Prepare and support material plans for backlog and service level reporting.
• Develop Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly & Daily production plans.
• Review scheduled sales orders and assess material availability.
• Expedite purchases to resolve shortages for work orders.
• Release work orders to the shop floor as per schedule.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and QC/QA for timely product delivery.
• Maintain planning files from sales order entry to delivery.
• Participate in planning-related growth programs.
• Implement Express Offer & Preferred Parts management.
• Support site planning managers in root cause analysis for inventory issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years in planning and scheduling experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good communication skills.
• Basic finance and costing knowledge preferred.
• Self-motivated and quick learner.
• Experience with ERP systems; Fourth Shift and Oracle preferred.
