Contracts Specialist/Counsel - Remote

Overview

As a Contracts Specialist/Counsel, you will provide sales-related Contract Services to Europe WA, with minimal levels of supervision, while being part of Emerson's Global Enterprise Legal Team.

In Short

• Review, draft, and negotiate agreements and transaction documents.
• Respond to customers’ RFP/RFQs and contractual requests.
• Lead less complex international and multi-BU project contracts.
• Interface with customers and legal team members.
• Analyze business, financial, and legal risks.
• Research existing agreements and compile data for reports.
• Provide contract-related guidance to Sales and Project Management.
• Participate in the approval process for business decisions.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of work experience in a contracts-related role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Completion of IACCM Contract and Commercial Management Training preferred.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Excellent oral and written English skills; French/Arabic is a plus.
• Experienced negotiation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Contract law and principles.
