Senior Python Developer - Remote

As a Senior Python Developer at Emergn, you’ll help us shape Emergn’s exciting future and play an important role in our growth.

In Short

• Develop and maintain scalable Python applications.
• Design and optimize databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Implement cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Write clean, testable code following TDD, OOP, and SOLID principles.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, Travis, GitHub Actions, ADO).
• Use static analysis tools (mypy, Radon) for code quality.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software developer.
• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience writing tests and knowledge of TDD.
• Knowledge of development principles such as OOP and SOLID.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, and Dynamo.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as CircleCI, Travis, GitHub Actions, or ADO.
• Experience with static analysis tools like mypy and Radon.
