Cloud App Engineer (Java) - Remote

In Short

• Join a team of data engineers, software architects, and product experts.
• Work with a tech stack based on Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and RESTful web services.
• Build and deploy applications as cloud-native Kubernetes microservices.
• Integrate with scalable technologies such as Kafka in Docker environments.
• Participate in an agile process to deliver high-value data-driven applications.
• 5-10 years of experience in full-stack microservices development required.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, particularly GKE and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Firestore.
• Skilled in unit and integration testing of Spring Boot APIs.
• Previous experience with federal government contracts is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of experience developing full-stack applications.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience in delivering production-ready code.
• Experience in Docker containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with other major cloud providers (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
