Cloud FinOps Subject Matter Expert - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Cloud FinOps SME to join our team and bring clarity, strategy, and accountability to the way we manage cloud costs.

In Short

• Lead the development and implementation of FinOps practices across multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strategies that optimize cloud usage and reduce waste.
• Provide meaningful insights and reporting on cloud spend and trends.
• Use risk management principles to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Participate in reviews and assessments of IT and cloud operations.
• Support IT transformation initiatives ensuring financial efficiency.
• Recommend oversight strategies based on IT/IS goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in information technology or information security.
• A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, cybersecurity, auditing, or business administration.
• A master’s degree in a related field.
• At least 5 years of IT/IS operations or service delivery experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting or leading transformational change within IT.
• Strong understanding of risk management approaches.
• Ability to align IT/IS goals with business objectives.
• Experience participating in or leading operational reviews or audits.
