Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Teradata Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide expertise in Teradata database administration and cloud migrations.

In Short

• Part-Time (Temporary - 6 months) position.
• Remote work with some on-site requirements for local candidates.
• Salary range of $75-$95 per hour based on experience.
• Background in Teradata database administration required.
• Expertise in AWS cloud architecture and Linux-based system optimization needed.
• Support multiple Teradata systems including development, test, and production.
• Collaborate with various teams on technical tasks.
• Implement access policies in compliance with standards.
• Lead efforts in modernizing legacy applications to a cloud environment.
• Provide senior-level software development support and mentoring.

Requirements

• Experience with Teradata and cloud migrations.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Linux systems.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and system patching.
• Experience with SQL scripting and DDL creation.
• Knowledge of software security testing and compliance.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in disaster recovery and storage management.
• Leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
