Data Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Data Engineering Manager at EDO, you will join a team of talented Data Engineers working closely with Data Scientists to build out our next generation Ad EnGage data pipeline. This pipeline measures and optimizes the effectiveness of advertising by combining and analyzing dozens of sources of advertising occurrence data, advertising outcome data, identity resolution data, and various other types of data.

In Short

• Hands-on manager of 1-3 direct reports; act as a player/coach.
• Solve data engineering challenges from a data pipeline that orchestrates the modeling of ad effectiveness.
• Lead projects cross functionally; collaboratively defining requirements with product management.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years of data engineering experience.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing platforms, cloud computing, and ETL/data pipeline technologies.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby.
