Overview

As a Layout Engineer with EDF, you’ll be immersed in one of the most exciting engineering environments in the world—supporting the construction and commissioning of Hinkley Point C and preparing for its future at Sizewell C.

In Short

• Work within the Joint Design Organisation to resolve layout challenges.
• Support the construction of Hinkley Point C and prepare for Sizewell C.
• Manage layout implications and deliver technical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in layout or design within civil, piping, HVAC, or electrical disciplines.
• Knowledge of layout principles and tools like Navisworks.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in nuclear or energy sectors.
• Strong people skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on simplifying complex ideas.
• Ability to produce clear technical documents.
• Effective communication skills.
