Cost Controller for Sishen Project - Remote

Overview

Envusa Energy is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to manage budgets, costs, and forecasts for the Sishen Solar PV Project, supporting project teams to meet key milestones.

In Short

• Manage cost reconciliations and budgets vs. actuals (OPEX & CAPEX).
• Track and report monthly financial performance to stakeholders.
• Set up and maintain WBS, cost centres, and profit centres.
• Support accounts payable and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Liaise with suppliers for payments and contract compliance.
• Ensure accurate financial records for audits.
• Develop and maintain cost control systems.
• Provide input for project close-out reporting.
• Support the finance team in ad hoc responsibilities.
• Collaborate with project teams effectively.

Requirements

• National Diploma / BTech / BCom in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certifications (SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA, ACCA) are advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience in complex construction projects.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions and renewable energy.
• Proficiency in IFRS and project accounting principles.
• Strong knowledge of Xero and ERP platforms.
• Experience with online banking and accounts payable processes.
