Overview

The Offshore Wind Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and strengthening EAC’s offshore wind policy advocacy, campaigning, program development, and research as part of the Atlantic Offshore Wind Coalition.

Strengthen partnerships with environmental organizations.
Conduct research and provide technical analyses.
Manage projects from conception to implementation.
Engage with stakeholders and decision-makers.
Create content for media and outreach.
Support fundraising and grant proposals.
Work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Maintain a professional network of allies.
Report to the Senior Energy Coordinator.

Requirements

Two years of experience in environmental advocacy.
Education in engineering, environmental science, or related fields.
Knowledge of renewable energy policies in Nova Scotia.
Experience in research and communication.
Strong networking and public speaking skills.
Project management experience.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Proficiency in Office 365 and web platforms.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel.
Experience in sustainability or non-profit sectors is an asset.

Benefits

Full-time position with a 4-day work week.
Salary range of $33.00 - $35.50/hr.
Cost-shared benefits plan.
